Admissions

RVNS believes that diverse communities thrive and welcomes students and staff with a variety of backgrounds and talents. Every admitted student receives all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities accorded to students at the school. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national or ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions and financial aid policies, staff hiring, nor any other school-administered programs.

Admissions Process

Getting to Know RVNS

One of the most important decisions parents can make is where to send their child to school. We encourage you to take your time to understand the school's vision and mission in order to ensure that RVNS is a good fit for your child(ren) and family. As the first step in this process, prospective families for the 2019-2020 school year will be invited to an informational session to hear from our founding families and meet the teachers. Please let us know if you would like to learn more by contacting us.

Application

Once you have decided that RVNS is a good fit for your child and your family, we encourage you to fill out an application. All applications will be reviewed by a committee of community members. There is a $50 non-refundable application fee.

RVNS Application

Waiting List

If there are no openings available in the program selected, your application will be placed on a waiting list. You will be contacted as soon as space becomes available and will then have two weeks in which to enroll your child by signing a contract.

Provisional Acceptance

All children enrolled are accepted into the program with the understanding that if the faculty feel the program cannot meet the child’s needs, they will explore options together with the parents.

Enrollment Agreement

Our admissions committee reviews all applications prior to offering an enrollment contract. A child is officially enrolled in the program when the school has received the signed enrollment agreement and paid a tuition deposit of 3% of total tuition.
